Shanquel Saunders

Shanquel Saunders is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Maryland. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (from Goucher College) and her Master’s degree in Social Work (From Morgan State University). Shanquel has over four years of experience working with children, adults and families encountering various hardships. For example, she has worked as a social worker in the Foster Care System and the Child Protective Services System. She has also worked as a Crisis Counselor and an Addiction Counselor Intern.

Shanquel has an innate passion for helping individuals better themselves and improve their lives. When working with individuals, Shanquel utilizes a Client-Centered approach. This means that Shanquel works from a place of unconditional positive regard, genuineness and empathetic understanding when helping individuals overcome hardships.
