What is the mission of your organization?

Our goal is to have a global footprint on emotional wellness and recovery
by positively impacting one person, family, and the community at a
time.  We strive to assist individuals to begin the journey of emotional
wellness through self-discovery and conscious choice.

What does the acronym CHOICES mean ?

CHOICES means Creating Healthy Options that Inspire Change and Empowerment for Self (by balancing emotional wellness and recovery).

What types of services do you provide?

We provide individual counseling, group counseling (family, conflict resolution, anger management, drug and alcohol, relapse prevention, meditation/mindfulness, intimate partner violence, parenting group, self-love, and discovery.

How can we pay for mental/behavioral health services?

We accept the following insurance companies for billing: MD Medicaid; CareFirst BCBS; AETNA; United Healthcare; Cigna; EAP referrals; and self-pay services. We also accept payment by check or credit card prior to services rendered.

What is the A+ Stages of Change Life Model®?

It is an insight-oriented modality that utilizes CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) and CPT (cognitive-processing therapy) that helps release clients who feel “stuck”, an unwanted emotional state.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open 9 am – 8 pm M – F and Sat 9 am – 1 pm. Our last appointment is scheduled one hour prior to closure.
